If successful (you only have to survive 1), he will award you the first 8 trinkets that you lost. bonus trinkets for leveling multiple characters, or the trinkets which tend to be more powerful vs. Though it is not normally possible to create duplicates of backer trinkets, there is a way to trick the game to create multiple copies, by abusing the mechanics of The Shrieker boss quest. (* minor bug: "Crest of the 1100" cannot be sold) Forcing multiple copies Selling them is not a worthwhile tactic, as they are each* worth just 1 gold. Once you claim a backer trinket and have it in your Inventory, you cannot summon another (but see next). (The game does not accept "copy/paste" function, you must type the name out.) Trinket names are not case sensitive, but otherwise the spelling must be identical to the names as written below.
Backer trinkets can be claimed by opening the Trinket Inventory, pressing the key, and typing the name of the trinket.
